Today I rode my bike past the Cambridge linguistics professor who supposedly helped create Parseltongue for JK Rowling.
WHOA!!
He was cycling too, and my friend who studies linguistics pointed him out. He's ancient, cool enough to ride a bike, and an expert in phonetics. I couldn't find out anything about him or Parseltongue online, but I trust my friend, as his student, to be a reliable source.
Next time I'll ask for his autograph... in Parseltongue, of course.
